Jesus invites you to understand the battle for your soul: Jesus once said, “then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved”.
Most of us have seen the ‘Star Wars’ movies where there is a constant battle between Good and Evil, between the Light Side and the Dark side. The Star Wars movies are creative entertainment. They are not real, but did you know that there is a real life war between Good and Evil going on in the spiritual world. It is a battle for your eternal soul and sadly many are lost to the dark side. Some are lost because they are not aware of this ‘all or nothing’ war for their eternal destiny! Why is it an ‘all or nothing’ battle? Because the gift of eternal life cannot be half-way received. You either accept Jesus offer of forgiveness and a future home in heaven as a gift, or you reject it. You either totally trust that Jesus paid your sin penalty on the cross, or you deny it. You either accept or refuse that God says you are a sinner, and that you can only be forgiven and saved eternally by trusting Jesus’s blood sacrifice for you.
Jesus's words above refers to when a person hears or reads about God’s redemptive plan of salvation. The devil loves to try to steal that 'word of salvation' out of your heart and mind before you believe on Jesus. It is warfare from the devil and his demons to try to get you to doubt God’s word or delay accepting Christ until it’s too late. So many distractions in life can keep you from dealing with the 2 most important questions you will face.
Do I know for sure I will go to heaven when I die?
Have I trusted the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior?
Escape the devils attempt to deceive you and cause your soul to spend forever in hell! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!
