How to be Sure Ministries Group

About Us

We are primarily a small group of Christians that minister in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in the southeastern part of the United States. Our group is not an officially organised ministry or church related nonprofit.  We are all volunteers in the Ministry Group and all our evangelistic efforts have been self-funded by our volunteers.  Recently, we developed the website how2besure.com , in which we used many of the illustrations used in our Nursing Home / Assisted Living teaching Ministry.  A simple, one-page kids Gospel website is also available at the bottom of each page on the website.  The kids website is in the Kid's Corner section and titled 'Kids go to Heaven'.  It is a tool for caring adults to help kids to come to saving faith in Jesus.  If you are interested in ministering in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in the area where you live, feel free to contact us at the contact info at the bottom of the page.  We will be glad to share our method of ministry in these type of facilities.  One of our desires is to see many other concerned Christians start this type of ministry work in their own area.  It will be your ministry work.  We only hope to inspire other Christians to consider ministering in their regions.  Your prayers for this Ministry Group would be truly appreciated!

The Ministry Group Purpose

Our main ministry purpose is to spread the clear Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior! We seek to proclaim the wonderful and free gift of forgiveness and eternal life to anyone who places their trust in Christ's finished work of redemption on the cross. Much prayerful effort has gone in to the preparation of practical examples of believing on Jesus for eternal life. The examples come from parables and illustrations that Jesus spoke about in His teachings in the Bible. Our efforts will mean nothing to the hearers and readers unless God's Spirit illuminates the eyes of their heart, and this is our prayer!

Assurance of Salvation for Christians

It burdens our hearts to know that there are so many Church members or attenders that are really not sure they will go to heaven when they die. Many may serve faithfully in their Church and have even done some outreach to the lost, but deep-down inside they are not sure they are personally saved. They have occasionally had periods of assurance, only to keep falling back into extended times of troubling doubts. Our focus is on helping them come to absolute personal assurance through God's Word. It is absolutely possible for anyone who truly understands the clear Gospel and rest all their hope in Christ righteousness and promises!!! One of our volunteers tried to serve God for 35 years, but with disabling inward doubts. Through seeking deeper into God's Word he was delivered from doubts and into a great assurance of salvation. That assurance has lasted 23 years and you should hear his testimony. Another of our volunteers tells of how he was saved at age 11 while attentively listening from his Church pew and how assurance has lasted for over 55 years. Another true testimony of God's free gift received by faith alone in God's promises. We say to this world - "Yes, you can be sure"!
